Editing Mail Notification

Sentinel EMS can be configured to send automatic e-mail reminders to renew your Sentinel LDK license prior to its expiration. You can specify the e-mail recipients to whom you want the reminder to be sent.

Each e-mail recipient can be specified as:

• A Sentinel LDK user for whom a valid e-mail address has already been defined.
• Any valid e-mail address.

To edit e-mail notifications:

• On the main menu, click Administration > Master.
• Select the Batch Code in which you want to specify e-mail notification properties.
• Click Actions > E-mail Notification. The E-mail Notification Properties for [Batch Code] pop-up appears.

  

• To add a Sentinel LDK user as a recipient:
  • Click Actions > Add User.
  • Select one or more users to receive notifications. (Only users for whom an e-mail address was defined are listed.)
  • Click Submit. Each selected user is added to the list in the E-mail Notification Properties pop-up.
• To add the e-mail address for any other recipient:
  • Click Actions > Add E-mail. The Add Recipient pop-up appears.
  • Enter a recipient name and e-mail address.
  • Click Submit. The recipient is added to the list in the E-mail Notification Properties pop-up.

  Repeat these steps for each recipient that you want to add to the list.

• To remove any recipient from the list, click Remove in the corresponding row.
• In the Alerts Threshold pane, provide a threshold below which you want to be notified that the license is soon to expire.
  • Notify when activations/seats reach ___% of total - A license expiry notification will be sent when the remaining number of activations/seats for the module reaches the provided percentage of the total number of days.
  • Notify when remaining days reach ___% of total - A license expiry notification will be sent when the remaining number of days for the module reaches the provided percentage of the total number of days.
• In the Disabled Notifications pane, select the modules for which you want to disable notifications.
• Click Save.
