Recycling Keys

This section is relevant only for LDK Products/Entitlements.

The Recycle Keys pop-up enables you to format one or more Sentinel HL protection keys for re-use, deleting all license data on each key.

This page uses a Java Applet that is currently not supported by the Microsoft Edge web browser and it is expected that other browsers will also stop supporting it. We have enhanced the Sentinel EMS system so that user experience is not affected and there is no visible change on the GUI. To facilitate this, users must have Runtime (RTE) installed on their machines and ensure that the URL to access the Sentinel EMS portal is configured in the Admin Control Center. Refer to Configuring the Sentinel EMS URL in the Admin Control Center (ACC)

The following buttons are available:

Recycle	Recycles the selected keys by deleting all license data on the key and uncompleted order data in Sentinel LDK.
Blink	Causes the LED of the selected keys to blink for 5 seconds.
Refresh	Refreshes the list of keys displayed in the window.

To format selected Sentinel protection keys:

On the main menu, click Entitlements > Recycle. The Recycle Keys pop-up appears.
You may be prompted to download and copy some files to a specified location. If you do not have appropriate permissions to copy the files to this location, your system administrator can help you to copy the files.
From the Sentinel Key ID list, select the keys to be recycled
Click Recycle. All license and uncompleted order data is deleted.
